Microbiology graduate students Paige Richards and Laurel Woods both received the Carver College of Medicine Dean's Award for Biomedical Graduate Studies (DABGS). Paige and Laurel are first-year students in the Microbiology Graduate Program and were a part of the Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) in Microbiology in the Summer of 2019. The goal of the 10-week research program is to foster the careers of the next generation of microbiologists.
