Department postdoctoral scholars were recognized for their outstanding research contributions at the inaugural University of Iowa Postdoctoral Association (UIPDA) Interdisciplinary Postdoctoral Conference, held June 25 at the Medical Education Research Facility (MERF).

The conference brought together postdoctoral scholars from across the university to share their research, engage with colleagues from diverse disciplines, and foster new collaborative connections. Through poster sessions and oral presentations, participants showcased the breadth and impact of research being conducted across campus.

Several department scholars received awards for their exceptional presentations:

• John-Mark Miller, PhD (Kleinpeter Lab) – 1st Place, Poster Presentation Competition
• Paige Donovan, PhD (Maury Lab) – 2nd Place, Poster Presentation Competition
• Shraddha Tripathi, PhD (Wu Lab)  – 2nd Place, Oral Presentation Competition

These awards recognize the scholars’ significant research contributions and reflect the high caliber of scholarship and innovation across the campus.
