Dr. Jack Stapleton is the first recipient of the DiBona Academics in Service of ICVA Veterans Award and honors the singular academic legacy of Dr. Gerald F. Dibona. The award is to honor those who have spent most of their careers at the Iowa City Veterans Affairs Health Care System (ICVA) and has been affiliated with the University.
