The Office of Undergraduate Research held the Spring Undergraduate Research Festival (SURF), at the Iowa Memorial Union on April 22, 2026, to celebrate the research, scholarship, and creative work of University of Iowa undergraduates. The festival featured student presentations through posters and visual displays with feedback from faculty, graduate students, peers, and community members to support the development of strong research communication skills. Below is a list of microbiology undergraduates who participated, all of whom conducted research in microbiology labs.
